Who We Help

To raise money to help those in need, we hold our primary fundraiser each year, a golf tournament in the spring. All of the money we raise stays in our community. Benefactors of our fundraising efforts include:

Citizens in our community in need of hearing aids (S.H.A.R.P. Sertoma Hearing Aid Recycling Program)

Graduate student scholarships for speech hearing for students attending the University of Kansas

Meetings

The Lenexa Sertoma Club meets at Ryan's Grill Buffett and Baker in Shawnee. (map) on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of of every month from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. The meeting consists of meal, business and a special guest speaker on the 3rd Thursday educating members on numerous topics. In order to disburse funds to local organizations, the club does various fundraisers throughout the year. Members are requested to support these fundraisers with their time and energy. There is a one-time initiation fee of $50 and quarterly dues of $35 without lunch or quarterly dues of $100 that includes lunch with the meetings.

We Need You!

We have fun raising money and then give it all away to help those in need. To continue to support our community, we need your help! Please consider joining our club or a financial contribution.
